“Implementation of technological eco-innovations for production of UAB “Biomotorai” new product”
October 16, 2019 UAB “Biomotorai” and public institution Lithuanian Business Support Agency concluded contract of project No. 03.3.2-LVPA-K-837-03-0008 “Implementation of technological eco-innovations for the production of UAB “Biomotorai” new product” (hereinafter – the Contract).
Purpose of a project: Implementation of technological eco-innovations in the operation of the company for the production of a new product from waste. During the operation the necessary modern equipment will be purchased: a tricanter (centrifuge) with a heat exchanger – 1 pc. and steam boiler – 1 pc. necessary for the future production of a new product from waste – sustainable animal origin energy biomass under the RED directive. Implementation of the project will allow the company to reduce the negative consequences of climate change and greenhouse effect, to increase sales and export volumes and to increase company’s competitiveness in the Lithuanian and foreign markets. Planned results of the project (new product from waste, reduction of the negative effects of climate change and greenhouse effect, increasing turnover and export growth) will have a positive impact on the development of Lithuanian business and will have a direct positive impact on the Vilnius region.
Result: production of a new product from waste – production of sustainable animal origin energy biomass under the RED directive
Project is funded under the 2014-2020 European Union Funds Investment Operational Program Priority 3 “Promotion of Small and Medium-Sized Business Competitiveness” implementing measure No. 03.3.2-LVPA-K-837 “ECO-INNOVATIONS LT+”. Eligible for funding expenses of the project – 483 000,00 Eur, up to 217 350,00 Eur dedicate from the European Regional Development Fund.
Period of project implementation: from October 16, 2019 to October 01, 2021
